Signup animation Flasheff Tutorial
In this Flasheff tutorial we are going to show you how we used Flasheff to come up with our newsletter signup animation on the right of the screen under the FREE e-book, its a very simple process when you use Flasheff because this handy Flash extension eliminates the need for hand coding.
With Flasheff it makes it drag and drop easy to create complex animations, and speeds up the whole process.
In the video below you can see the exact steps that we took to create the animation with Flasheff and for those of you who dont like video if you scroll down you will find a step by step of the whole process
So on with the flasheff tutorial video:
And the step by step is below:
1. We start with a blank canvas which is 150px in width and 100px in height.

2. We put our background image onto the canvas. which will overlap by 100px because we want our Flasheff animation to blend seamlessly with our background image on the page.

3. We put our arrows onto the stage, each in their own layer and convert them to symbols, once our arrows are symbols you can drag and drop the Flasheff component onto each one and as you can see it will snap to the corner of the symbol that it is associated with.

4. Choose a Flasheff component on the stage and open the Flasheff panel. In this panel you want to select the Slide pattern and the SlideDown sub pattern as shown below. Repeat this for your other arrow.

5. Select your text tool and place it between your two arrows but on a seperate layer. Write out the words "Signup to our newsletter" and adjust the size and placement so that it fits nicely. Make sure that you embed the characters or they wont show up in your animation. Then drag and drop the Flasheff component onto your dynamic text.

6. Notice how the Flasheff component snaps to the corner of your text. Select the Flasheff component and open the Flasheff panel. In the show tab select the Alpha pattern and the Typography_Medium sub pattern as shown in the image below.

7. In the Filters tab Select Glow and leave it as default.

Your animation is ready to go, just upload it to your server and watch it.
