Flash CS4 Professional is much more than just an animation tool, it's evolved into a powerful piece of software that can create animations, games, menus, galleries, web applications and more.

It has become the tool of choice for online game developers because it produces lightwieght .swf files that a user can fully interact with and can read and write to databases on a web server.

Over the last few years there has been a massive increase in the amount of mini flash game gallery type websites that have sprung up on the web. This is because Actionscript is a programing language that is easy to learn and implement but extremely powerful.

Look at this game to the left its a great example of the power of Flash so much contained in a lightwieght .swf file.

Flash doesn't only do games! it's limited only by your imagination.
